1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EvenHire ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. EvenHire reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Platform Description

EvenHire is a trust-based hiring platform that connects job seekers and employers. The Platform enforces accountability on both sides through skill-matching requirements, application limits, employer response tracking, and visibility scoring.

EvenHire does not guarantee employment, interview opportunities, or hiring outcomes for any party. We are a platform that facilitates connections — we do not participate in, control, or guarantee the outcome of any hiring process.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

EvenHire reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in behavior that undermines the integrity of the Platform.

4. Job Seeker Responsibilities

As a job seeker, you agree to:

  • • Provide accurate information about your skills, experience level, and qualifications
  • • Not misrepresent your experience or credentials to circumvent match gating
  • • Apply only to positions for which you genuinely intend to pursue if accepted
  • • Respect the weekly application limit (10 applications per week)
  • • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent Platform restrictions

5. Employer Responsibilities

As an employer, you agree to:

  • • Post only genuine, active job openings
  • • Honor the experience level and skill requirements declared in your job postings
  • • Verify job listings every 7 days to confirm positions remain open
  • • Review and respond to applications within 14 days
  • • Not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • • Accept that failure to respond to applications will be recorded and may affect your employer visibility score

6. Salary Transparency

EvenHire requires employers to disclose salary or pay range information when posting jobs. This information is visible to all job seekers. Employers agree that the salary information provided is accurate and reflects the genuine compensation offered for the position.

7. Accountability Mechanics

EvenHire's trust and accountability features — including employer visibility scores, application expiry, and flagging — are automated systems designed to promote fair hiring practices. These systems operate based on platform activity data.

EvenHire does not guarantee the accuracy of these scores and is not liable for any business impact resulting from a reduced visibility score or flagged account status. Employers may appeal flagged status by contacting support.

8. No Employment Guarantee

EvenHire provides a platform for connecting job seekers and employers. We do not guarantee that job seekers will receive interviews, job offers, or employment. We do not guarantee that employers will find suitable candidates. All hiring decisions are made solely by the employer.

9. Payments

Certain features of EvenHire, including job postings, may require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. EvenHire does not store credit card or payment information on its servers.

Job posting fees are non-refundable once a job has been published on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EvenHire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. EvenHire's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to EvenHire in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
